Weblate translation tool added

Being able to easily crowd-source translations for your software project is a vital tool in our global world. Weblate is an open-source and widely known tool for this that directly integrates with code-forges like our Forgejo instance. Futhermore we added direct machine-learning assisted translations via our own instance of the LibreTranslate API.

What is Weblate?

Please have a look at the official Weblate website for a full overview. But the tl;dr version is that Weblate allows contributing translations to software projects in any language very easily. You can find our instance here.

What is LibreTranslate?

LibreTranslate is an fully open-source machine-translation API that supports multiple common languages. You can try our instance in an easy to use web-interface here. Weblate will use this API to make suggestions for translations into the selected language, but please note that this is not a full replacement for human translations and the AI model can easily make mistakes.

How to use our Weblate?

Once you have registered an account on our main git Forge, you can directly log into Weblate and start using it. Any member can create new translation projects and link them for automatic pull requests to our Forgejo instance or any other supported code forge.
